Rejected AGAIN? - and Again. :(

Dealing with rejection isn’t new—but it hits different when you’ve been around the block a few times.

Some days it feels like every “no” shows up in a new costume:

😔 Overqualified.

😔 Too experienced.

😔 Not the right fit.

And I’ll be real for a second: lately, the rejection has piled up more than I’d like to admit. Opportunities I was excited about slipped away. Roles I knew I could crush closed the door. Even conversations that felt promising fizzled out. It’s been discouraging, frustrating, and honestly—exhausting. But even in the tough moments, I remind myself that this season doesn’t define me. It’s just testing me.

Here’s the truth I keep coming back to: rejection doesn’t disqualify you. It refines you. When you’ve put in years of work—real work, the kind that leaves calluses, scars, and stories—you’re not “overqualified.” You’re seasoned. You’re valuable. You’re battle-tested.

And being older? That’s not a setback. That’s leverage. That’s perspective. That’s wisdom the fast-track crowd hasn’t earned yet.

So if you’re out here facing the same walls: keep going. Show up again tomorrow. Adjust, improve, pivot, sharpen—whatever it takes. A hundred rejections only make the one “yes” that much sweeter.

If no one else says it today:

You’re not done. You’re not behind. You’re not too late.

You’re just in the middle of your next chapter. And chapters don’t end with “no.”

They end with, “Watch this.”
