I’m looking to connect with the real Recruiting Professionals out there—the ones who actually care. There are too many bad eggs giving our business a bad name. Let’s cut through the noise, come together, and do what we’re supposed to do: help people.
Recruiting the Right Way – What Makes A Recruiter…A Recruiter?
✅ Don’t pretend to be something you’re not.
✅ Hold yourself to the highest moral and ethical standard.
✅ Have a high level of integrity.
✅ If you have 5 years of experience or less, don’t call yourself an “expert”.
✅ In-depth knowledge of running a full desk.
✅ Never leaving a candidate hanging. No ghosting.
✅ You’re honest and transparent in every situation.
✅ Keeping all client and candidate conversations strictly confidential.
✅ Showing care and respect for all parties involved.
✅ Having empathy for your candidates.
✅ The ability to know when you're being played. Having that 6th sense.
✅ Learning from every loss – Being humble in victory.
✅ Keeping personal emotions out of the search.
✅ Never recruit from an existing client.
✅ Control the process, not the people.
✅ Verify everything—never just take someone’s word for it.
✅ Never taking success for granted.
