Personally, I’m actually a laid-back guy—believe it or not. I’ve been married to a beautiful Southern woman since 2003. It’s both of our second rides on the marriage rollercoaster, and honestly, the best times of my life. We met by chance while living in separate states, and I relocated from Ohio in 2002 to be with her. She is, without question, the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and I wouldn’t be doing any of this without her full support.
I also have two adult daughters from my first marriage and two granddaughters who hold my heart. Plus, I have two dogs that I love more than most people. My dogs mean so much to me that I have four of them tattooed on my forearms—yeah, I’ve got some ink, and I don’t hide it… for anyone.
Professionally, If you're looking for brutal honesty and transparency, you've come to the right place. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one willing to put their voice out there with factual opinions (is that a thing?) about the job market. I talk about anything that brings me passion. Mainly job market related, but other life things as well from time to time. My fault...is that I have no filter whatsoever.
I’m a seasoned and driven recruiting executive with over 15 years of experience spanning agency recruiting, small business ownership, consulting, and education. Throughout my career, I’ve partnered with organizations across commercial construction, skilled trades, diverse manufacturing sectors, private equity, and disaster response—recruiting for roles in engineering, operations, and leadership.
In addition to my extensive recruiting background, I bring hands-on experience in building, leading, and developing high-performing teams. I’ve successfully designed and implemented KPIs, managed recruiting budgets, and driven operational efficiency. I’ve also created and delivered over 20 customized training programs for onsite recruiters and hiring managers, equipping them with the tools and strategies to hire effectively and confidently.
